Patterns Helping Patterns “Simplicity 6939”

Patterns Helping Patterns is exactly that, complete patterns preserving the ones not so fortunate to survive the times. The pattern of focus today is Simplicity 6939 dated 1975.

An incomplete was donated from a Sewing Pattern Nerd member, and what is probably the best thing about it (besides completing it) is the 1970’s groovy font store stamp on the envelope. Goes perfectly with the Singer Genie portable sewing machine with the awesome decals.

If you ever come across this machine don’t pass it up.

If you are in search of this pattern  www.BackRoomFinds.com has one for sale

here Simplicity 6939 and is complete.  If your pattern needs some assistance we have several sizes not cut with pinking sheers.

This wouldn’t be possible without everyones efforts brought together to make a whole. Thank you all for your donations. Happy Sewing!

  1. I just found this site and see that there are several related facebook groups. I am interested in donating some whole (previously used) patterns and possibly some orphaned pieces. At least one of the groups I found is a trading group and I do not want to trade right now because I there is no pattern that I am currently looking for. I am sure that in the future I will want another pattern or piece of a pattern. I am trying to figure out how to do this
